Tristan Tidwell is a 35 year old man from North Las Vegas who has said he is homeless. Tidwell reportedly told police that he killed three men and shot a dog, saying, “anything without a home gets terminated.”

Tidwell Told Police He Killed Three Men And Shot A Dog. “Tidwell told investigators he had to “put down” the men, who were shot between 7:30 p.m. and 9 p.m. Monday. Two of the victims have been identified as Jorge Godoy-Lua, 43, and 53-year-old Oliver Hillman — both of whom died from gunshot wounds to the back and neck, respectively, the newspaper reported.” [NY Post]
Police Say They Found Blood On Tidwell’s Belongings. “While investigating the third murder, police learned that other officers had detained the suspect, later identified as Tidwell, on North Las Vegas Boulevard. Police searched his belongings and found a handgun and a paper towel with blood on it, they said.” [8 News]
Police: Tidwell Said Killings Had To Be Done. “One detective “asked Tidwell if he thought shooting and killing the three men was right,” the report states. “Tidwell said, ‘Oh no. It’s wrong. It’s against the law. But it has to be done.'”” [News3]
