Maths teacher Jamie, from Newport, Wales, suffered a single stab wound and was found in the school corridor, cops said. The 27-year-old was rushed to hospital with a suspected stab wound injury. Teen Arrested After Stabbing. “A teacher is in hospital and a teenage boy in police custody following a suspected stabbing at Tewkesbury Academy. Gloucestershire Police was called to the secondary school at 09:10 BST after reports a teenager had stabbed a male teacher. The school was in lockdown, but pupils are now being allowed to leave. Paramedics treated a male teacher for a stab wound at the scene and he was under close supervision at Gloucester Royal Hospital. School Put In Lockdown After Incident Reported. “Tewkesbury School, in Ashchurch Road, was put into lockdown following the incident and carefully searched to ensure there was no further danger. Students Sent Texts During Lockdown. “A series of text messages between a parent and pupil were seen by the Guardian. The messages read: “We are stuck in a classroom. Mum I’m really scared … They had guns, they had armed police and dogs were out.” Asked who had guns, the pupil said: “The police, I saw armed police come into the school. I’m just still scared.
