Daniel Blas Torrealba is a 21 year old man from Phoenix Arizona. Torrealba and his brother Edwin Chavez-Blas, 19, are accused of murdering Torrealba’s girlfriend Destiny Munoz. The brothers are accused of putting Munoz’s body in a plastic container after her death.

Torrealba and Brother Accused Of Murder. “Torrealba and his brother Edwin Chavez-Blas, 19, are now accused of covering up Munoz’s death with a plan to cut her into pieces with a chainsaw and bury her, according to the court records. Munoz was killed by a gunshot, but Torrealba claimed she shot herself during an argument in one of several differing explanations he gave witnesses over how the teen and mother of his 1-year-old child met her end, the website stated.” [NY Post]
Police: Video Shows Brothers Buying Storage Container, Cleaning Supplies After Death. “Investigators also say there is surveillance video from a home-improvement store showing Chavez-Blas buying a 70-gallon storage container, as well as cleaning supplies, deodorizer, and “several rolls of duct tape.” According to Chavez-Blas’s public court documents, he told police that Torrealba told him “alternative versions of a story that Daniel pushed her during a fight and she either hit her head or she was accidentally shot when she fell.” [AZ Family]
