Who Is Christian Stevenson? Vernon CT Voyeur Allegation

Christian Stevenson is a 52 year old man from Vernon, Connecticut. Stevenson worked as a teacher and golf coach at Rockville High School. He has been accused of taking voyeuristic photos of students and of posessing child pornography.

Stevenson Arrested, Photos Reportedly Found. “Police said a search warrant was executed at Stevenson’s home in September. A digital forensic exam of seized items led investigators to believe that the suspect had child pornography and voyeuristic images.” [WFSB]

Stevenson Charged With Voyeurism, Possession Of Child Pornography. “Christian Stevenson, 52, was arrested and charged with importing child pornography, second-degree illegal possession of child pornography, eight counts of voyeurism, nine counts of disorderly conduct, four counts of voyeurism with a child under 16 years of age and four counts of risk of injury to a minor, police said.” [NBC CT]

Warrant: Stevenson Took Photos At Rockville High School. “According to the warrants, Stevenson resigned from Rockville High School in mid-September, where he took most of the photos. He had been there for 22 years where he taught social studies and was the golf coach.” [WFSB]

Report: Students Identified In Photo Cache. “But investigators also came across many inappropriate pictures that were taken more recently — including hundreds that appeared to have been taken inside the high school, the warrants said. After meeting with school officials, police were able to recognize two of the students who were the subject of inappropriate pictures, some taken in Stevenson’s classroom, they said.” [Hartford Courant]

Police: Stevenson Had “Upskirt” Photos Of Female Students. Police say that in his cache of photos, Stevenson had upskirt photos he had taken of a student from Rockville High School taken with his cellphone. The photos reportedly focused on the buttocks of a 15 year old girl. Police say the girl was “extremely distraught” after they interviewed her about the photos.

Police: Student Wanted To Burn Shorts After Stevenson Allegedly Took Buttock Photos. A student of Stevenson, according to police, said she wanted to burn the shorts she was wearing when he allegedly took a photo of her buttocks.
