Long Arrested, Accused Of Crimes. “Caleb Long, 25, was charged with three counts by the St. Joseph County Prosecutor’s Office for alleged incidents involving a Clay High School student. Long was charged with dissemination of matter harmful to minors, child solicitation and child seduction. In charging documents, the St. Joseph County prosecutor accuses Long of sending naked pictures of himself to a 15-year-old between November 1, 2022 and January 1, 2023.” [WSBT]
Police: Long Sent Text To Child Saying He Would “Go To Jail” For Contacting Them. “The teacher, 25-year-old Caleb Long, was charged Wednesday with three felonies — child solicitation, child seduction and disseminating material harmful to minors. Court documents state the student contacted police in December about sexually explicit messages Long had sent her. One of the girl’s friends also showed investigators texts where Long told her he was interested in her and that he would “Go. To. Jail.” if they told anyone about the communications.” [Tribune]
