
Angharad Williamson is a 30 year old woman from South Wales. She has been charged with the murder of her 5 year old son, Logan Mwangi, who’s body was found dead in a river.
The boy’s stepfather, John Cole, and another boy, aged 14, have also been charged in the murder.
Williamson has been also charged with perverting the course of justice.

Williamson Charged With Logan Mwangi Murder. “Angharad Williamson, 30, has been charged with the murder of her son, South Wales Police said. Logan, also known as Logan Williamson, was discovered in the River Ogmore in Bridgend county on 31 July.” [Daily Star]

Child Found Dead After Going Missing. “The little boy – also known as Logan Williamson – was found dead after police were called to a report of a missing child at 5.45am on July 31. He was taken to the Princess of Wales Hospital in the town where it was confirmed that he had died.” [Wales Online]
Body Was Identified By Grandmother. “At the inquest opening in Pontypridd, coroner’s officer Lauren Howitt said Logan had been formally identified by his grandmother Claire Williamson. She told the hearing that a post-mortem examination had been carried out, but further investigation was needed before a cause of death was announced.” [South Wales Argus]
Prosecutors: Signs Of Abuse Found On Child’s Body. “A court previously heard how little Logan had suffered head injuries from “impacted pressure by an object, a foot or a fist”. He had been left in “extreme pain and distress” after allegedly being attacked at his home in Bridgend, south Wales.” [The Sun]
Teenage Boy Charged In Murder. “The teenager, of Bridgend, appeared before magistrates in Cardiff on Thursday and spoke only to confirm his name and address. He was previously charged with perverting the course of justice.” [Wales Online]
