Milixen Ardon is a 24 year old woman from Chicago, Illinois. Along with Wilfredo Cruz, 43, of South California Avenue, Ardon is accused of murdering 2 year old Alisson Zelaya of Marquette Park.

Ardon, Cruz Accused Of Child Abuse Murder. “Milixen Ardon, 24, and Wilfredo Cruz, 43, both of the 6600 block of South California Avenue, were expected to appear in court Friday, police said. Alisson was found unresponsive at a home in the 6600 block of South California Avenue, suffering from trauma and bruising to her hands, legs and torso, according to a police report.” [Chicago Tribune]
Police: Witness Said Couple Brought Dead Child To Hospital. “Police said, at 10:49 p.m. Monday, a male witness reported that a 43-year-old man and a 24-year-old woman transported the girl to the hospital from the 6600 block of South California Avenue because she was unresponsive and not breathing.” [CBS]
Child Pronounced Dead At Holy Cross Hospital. “She was taken to Holy Cross Hospital, where she was pronounced dead at 10:54 a.m., officials said. Ardon and Cruz were taken into custody.” [Sun Times]
