Martina Arrested, Charged. Andrez Martina has been charged by police in Milwaukee with several charges in the murder of his 12 year old grandson. The charges are: First-degree intentional homicide, Physical abuse of a child, repeated acts causing death, Neglecting a child – consequence is death, Physical abuse of a child, repeated acts with high probability of great bodily harm, Possession of a firearm by a felon
Complaint: Police Called To Respond To Child Abuse. The criminal complaint in the Martina case said police officers responded to a claim of child abuse at Children’s Wisconsin hospital on August 29. There they found the 12 year old boy who had been rushed into the emergency department and he later died.
Complaint: Guardian Said Martina Accused Boy Of Stealing. In the complaint the boy’s legal guardian said Martina sent him a text accusing the 12 year old boy of stealing his money. Then when he was asked where the boy was, Martina allegedly said “he’s bleeding.”
Great-Grandmother: Martina Hit Boy With Hammer. The great-grandmother of the deceased boy reportedly told police she saw Andrez Martina hitting the boy with a hammer.
Complaint: Martina Said He “Lost It.” The criminal complaint says that in his interview with police, Martina said he “lost it” after the child supposedly stole his money. The complaint said that Martina used a hammer, cane, coat rack, and belt in beating the child.
Complaint: Martina Admitted Killing Boy In 1989. The criminal complaint alleges that in his interview with police, Martina reportedly told the police that he killed a boy in 1989.
