Giulia Maccaroni was a 29 year old woman from San Vito Romano. She was found dead on a British sailboat anchored at a port in Castellammare di Stabia, Naples, Italy. A fire occurred at the scene but Maccaroni’s body was reportedly found without any burns.

Maccaroni Went To Sleep When Ship “Morgane” Docked At Naples. Reports indicate that Maccaroni told other members of the crew that she felt tired when it docked at a Marina in Naples, Italy.
Suffocation Suspected. Reports say that Maccaroni may have been unaware of the fire on board the ship and suffocated in her sleep from inhaling the toxic fumes.
Body Found Without Burns. Firefighters found Maccaroni’s body after coming on board to fight the fire. According to reports they did not find any burns on her body.
Family Traveling From Rome. Maccaroni’s family is reportedly traveling from Rome to Naples to identify the body, assist authorities in the investigation.
