Trisha Lynn Mastro is a 53 year old woman from Litchfield Park, Arizona. Mastro has been accused by police of beating her 14 year old son with a belt and coat hangers. She is also then accused of locking up the child in a bathroom for up to 3 days.
She now stands accused of child abuse.
According to reports, the child came to Arizona after visiting his father in New York, but then got into a fight with his mother. After trying to go to a neighbor’s house to call his father, police say Mastro ripped a phone out of the wall.
Mastro Arrested And Charged. “When she was questioned about her son’s injuries, detectives say Mastro denied ever harming or physically touching the boy, and said that “she did not know how the injuries came to be.” Mastro was released on her own recognizance.” [AZ Family]
