Driggers Arrested, Accused Of Murder. “Sammantha Danielle Driggers, 20, was arrested and charged with second-degree murder, according to a news release from the Citrus County Sheriff’s Office. At around 2:45 p.m. on Thursday, dispatch was called about a shooting that had happened on North Columbus Street in Beverly Hills. When deputies arrived at the house, they found Matthew Charles Driggers, 44, with a single gunshot wound. According to CCSO, deputies tried to provide first aid until Citrus County Fire Rescue got on the scene. Once they did, they pronounced Matthew dead. CCSO said that deputies located and recovered the firearm that was used during the incident.” [WSB]
