Russell Vacherlon Surrendered Teaching License. “According to the Sun Sentinel, Russell Vacherlon, 64, chose to surrender his teaching license rather than fight the discipline efforts from the Education Practices Commission. The action became final last month. CBS12 News acquired the affidavit filed by the Palm Beach County School District police which states that Vacherlon was a Keyboarding Teacher at Christa McAuliffe Middle School when the incidents occurred. Vacherlon stands accused of inappropriate touching which includes running fingers through students’ hair, massaging their backs, rubbing their thighs and lower legs, and tickling the belly of one student, the arrest report reads.” [CBS 12]
