Richard Lynn Upright Arrested. “Richard Lynn Upright, 56, of Pleasant Garden, was arrested Friday and charged with 10 counts of second-degree sexual exploitation of a minor. The Guilford County Sheriff’s Office first began its investigation after getting seven tips from Google that Upright had uploaded child porn to his Google Drive. Upright was still a teacher at the school when the investigation began. We learned in court that Upright had been taking photos of students and putting their faces over top nude and sexually explicit images. Investigators say he photoshopped and used AI to edit images before storing them on his Google Drive.” [WSPA]
