A body camera video showed police pulling over Wheatcroft based on the claim that he didn’t signal to turn properly.

Wheatcroft protested showing the officer his ID and Schneider opened the passenger door. According to Wheatcroft’s lawsuit, Schneider placed his Taser between Wheatcroft’s right shoulder and neck and asked if he was going to fight.

The lawsuit alleges that Wheatcroft was tased and video was recorded with the sound of children begging to end the situation in the background.

The suit alleges that Schneider tased Wheatcroft after pulling down his pants, targeting his testicles and the area between the genitals and anus known as the perineum.

The police department has denied this version of events and claimed Wheatcroft reached into a backpack. They also say Wheatcroft’s wife swung a bag of drinks at police officers.
