
Mariam Abdulrab was a 27-year-old bartender from Atlanta, Georgia, who was kidnapped and murdered. Her boyfriend, a rapper named Germ, called in the abduction to police. A man, Demarcus Brinkley, has been accused by police for the crime.
Abdulrab worked at the Revery: VR Bar.
Abdulrab Reported Missing, Found Dead. “On Friday, Aug. 13, Abdulrab was reported missing around 5 a.m., at 501 Burroughs St. SE in the Chosewood Park neighborhood, after leaving her bartending shift at Revery Bar. About five hours later, Abdulrab was found dead near 1907 Lakewood Ave.” [CBS 46]
Rapper Germ Told 911 He Saw Abduction. “In a leaked audio of the desperate call Germ is heard saying: “Somebody just left with my girlfriend. “Oh my God. Bro, I just watched her get kidnapped from in front of my house. What the f**k. Oh my f**king God.”” [The Sun]
Demarcus Brinkley Arrested, Accused Of Murder. “Atlanta Police detained Brinkley last week after a chase in Griffin ended in a crash. He and another person were both hospitalized. He was listed in stable condition in custody at AMC Hospital Detention before being released and taken to the Fulton County Jail.” [11 Alive]
Revery: VR Bar Manager: Abdulrab Had “Huge Heart.” “Bar manager Dillon Knight said, “Everyone looked forward to seeing Mariam at work, on both sides of the bar,” reports the Journal-Constitution. “She had a huge heart and would go well out of her way to help out or provide for folks.”” [People]
