Police: Gore Admitted Decapitating Mother, Setting Her On Fire. “An Ohio man has been arrested for allegedly killing his adoptive mother, sawing her head off and then setting her on fire because he says the Holy Spirit told him she was the devil. Lionel Justin Gore, 34, admitted to murdering his mother, Diane Gore, inside her New Matamoras home on the Ohio-West Virginia border last Saturday, telling authorities after his arrest: “I cut her head off and set her on fire.”” [NY Post]
Police Report: Nephew Saw Gore Cutting Off Mother’s Head. “The affidavit of facts notes detectives also spoke with Lionel’s 6-year-old nephew, who advised he witnessed Lionel on top of Diane, sawing her neck with a knife. The boy stated Lionel started with a smaller knife, then retrieved a larger one, the affidavit said.” [Marietta Times]
