Caron Accused Of Having Student’s Baby, Assault. “Laura Caron, 34, was taken into custody on Wednesday and now faces charges of aggravated sexual assault, sexual assault, and endangering the welfare of a child. She is alleged to have had an inappropriate sexual relationship with the minor between 2016 and 2020. Caron taught the pupil at a Middle Township Elementary School in New Jersey, where she was a fifth-grade educator. But police began an investigation when the victim’s dad created a social media post in December suggesting that her five-year-old child bore striking similarities to his son, according to 6ABC.
