Kroy “KJ” Biermann Jr. is the 15-year-old son of former Real Housewives of Atlanta star Kim Zolciak and former Atlanta Falcons linebacker Kroy Biermann. He is facing seven felony charges in Georgia stemming from allegations that he sexually assaulted a female classmate at an Alpharetta fitness center in April 2026.
A Fulton County grand jury indicted Biermann Jr. on September 3 on charges including aggravated child molestation, aggravated sexual battery, aggravated sodomy, false imprisonment and three counts of sexual battery against a child under 16.

Sexual Assault Examination Found No Male DNA
A forensic examination reportedly did not detect male DNA in samples taken from the accuser. Us Weekly, citing the police report, said testing found no male DNA in samples collected from the teenager’s mouth or vagina. [Us Weekly]
Biermann Jr.’s family and defense team have repeatedly cited the reported DNA findings while denying the allegations. The absence of detectable male DNA does not by itself determine whether the alleged conduct occurred.
When Was Kroy Biermann Jr. Arrested?

Judge Granted KJ Biermann A $200,000 Bond

Prosecutors Revealed A Separate Juvenile Sexual Battery Case
Prosecutors disclosed during the September 11 bond hearing that Biermann Jr. had already been under juvenile-court supervision in a separate sexual-battery case. Deputy District Attorney Caitlin McGillicuddy told the court that Biermann Jr. had been under supervision since October 2025 in connection with a prior charge involving another minor. KJ Biermann’s Attorney Disputes The Prior-Case Characterization
Defense attorney Jason Sheffield has challenged the prosecution’s description of the earlier juvenile matter. Sheffield said prosecutors had “grossly” mischaracterized both the facts and ultimate resolution of the earlier case and argued that the prior proceeding should not be portrayed as establishing that Biermann Jr. committed the conduct alleged by prosecutors. Sheffield has emphasized that his client was only 14 when the alleged April incident occurred and argued that the juvenile system’s focus on treatment and rehabilitation is more appropriate than adult punishment.
