Forbes Arrested, Accused Of Assaulting Teen. “The Middlesex District Attorney’s Office announced Tuesday that 45-year-old Keith Forbes, of Wakefield, was arraigned Friday in Middlesex Superior Court on one count of rape of a child in connection with assaulting a 15-year-old girl while he was working at Extra Innings in 2008.According to authorities, the victim would frequent the Extra Innings baseball and softball training facility where Forbes worked as a coach and instructor. Prosecutors said Forbes would talk to the high school sophomore often and engage in inappropriate conversations with her.” [WCVB]
Forbes Accused Of Assaulting Girl In Office. “At one point, Forbes allegedly told the victim his computer was broken before asking her to come into his office, according to the statement. Officials said he then allegedly sexually assaulted the girl in his office, refusing to stop when she asked.
