Joseph Angel Alvarez is a 38 year old man from El Paso, Texas. Police have alleged that Alvarez shot and killed lawyer Georgette Kaufmann and shot and injured her husband, Daniel Kaufman. The case was previously a cold case.
Reports have indicated that Alvarez murdered the lawyers because they were supporters of President Joe Biden.

Police: Alvarez Shot Kaufmanns. “Investigators contend that Alvarez, armed with a handgun, went to the Kaufmann’s home along the 3000 block of Copper Avenue near Memorial Park on Nov. 14 of last year. That’s when he allegedly shot Georgette Kaufmann multiple times, killing her, before shooting and wounding her husband.” [KVIA]
Warrant Says Alvarez Emails Claimed Abortion Was “Jewish Child Sacrifice.” “The search warrant also found he emailed a US Army email, the 902D Military Intelligence group, stating his extremist religious beliefs where he identified “pro-choice” people as the “Jewish Satanist Paty” and makes several references to democrats as liars and explains abortions as “Jewish child sacrifice.”” [KFOX]
$2 Million Bail Set For Alvarez. “Detectives brought Alvarez before judge
Humberto Acosta, who set a $2 million bail for the murder of Mrs. Kaufmann and $500,000 for the aggravated assault of Mr. Kaufmann. Alvarez is incarcerated at the El Paso County Detention Facility, Downtown.” [El Paso Police]
Police Tracked Alvarez Through Google “Geofence” Warrant. “During the investigation, investigators obtained a Google geofence search warrant. A geofence warrant is a search warrant signed by a judge allowing law enforcement to search a database to find all mobile devices within a particular geofence area.” [4 News]
