Ivan Danilo Ardila-Perez is a 36 year old man from the Alamance-Burlington area of North Carolina. He worked as a Spanish teacher and soccer coach at Southern Alamance Middle School. Police have accused Ardila-Perez of taking indecent liberties with students at the school.

Ivan Danilo Ardila-Perez Arrested. “According to court documents, 36-year-old Ivan Danilo Ardila-Perez is charged with two counts of indecent liberties with a student and two counts of indecent liberties with a child. A spokesperson for ABSS said Ardila-Perez was a Spanish teacher and men’s soccer coach at Southern Alamance Middle School up until Wednesday, April 26 when he was suspended with pay. The court documents say on Feb. 26, 2023, he took indecent liberties with an 11-year-old student at the school, and again on April 12, 2023 with a 12-year-old student.” [MORE]
School District “Cooperating Fully” In Ardila-Perez Investigation. “There is no greater priority than the health, safety, and welfare of our children. To that end, the Alamance-Burlington School System is cooperating fully with the Alamance County Sheriff’s Office as part of an ongoing investigation involving alleged misconduct by a Southern Middle School teacher. We are committed to the success of all our students and expect all staff members to uphold that commitment each and every day. The employee in question is on administrative leave pending the outcome of the investigation by both law enforcement and District administration. Seven Students Have Accused Ardila-Perez. “The sheriff said Monday afternoon that his investigation had revealed there was probable cause to believe that Ardila-Perez, a Spanish teacher and soccer coach at Southern Middle School, had inappropriate sexual contact with seven female students between ages 11 to 13 on school property and during school hours, the sheriff explained during the joint press conference with ABSS superintendent Dr. Dain Butler.
