Damron Reported Missing, Didn’t Contact Child. “Saturday at 10 p.m. a friend of Damron reported her missing to the Martin County Sheriff’s Office. The friend said that the father of Damron’s child picked up their 2-year-old child at 6 p.m. Friday at her house. She found it suspicious that Damron had not had contact with her child since that time.” [WPTV]
Damron Body Found In Canal. “Perrin Damron, 23, was found in the Okeechobee Waterway in Indiantown. Detectives said that they knew that Damron left her home voluntarily with a family friend, Eric William Westergard, of Jupiter, Friday.” [WPBF]
Police: Westergard Led Them To Body. “Westergard of Jupiter Farms is known in Palm Beach County as the operator of an animal sanctuary from where a kangaroo escaped in September 2018 and was pursued for two days by Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission before finally caught.” [TCPalm]
Police Claim They Caught Westergard Cleaning Blood From Car. “After getting in and out of his truck a couple of times, he then began cleaning the cargo area, wiping down the interior of the cargo area with white paper towels. Arrest Report: Westergard Was Sleeping With Damron And Dating Her Mother. “According to Westergard’s arrest report, he’s the boyfriend of Damron’s mother and admitted to investigators that he had been in an intimate relationship with Damron for several weeks.” [WPTV]
Westergard Pleaded Guilty To Battery In 2018. “In 2018, Westergard pleaded guilty to a simple battery misdemeanor charge, after he admitted to attacking a woman in his home. Arrest reports from the 2018 incident state the victim, who was 26 years old at the time, went to the Palm Beach Sheriff’s Office with “visible signs of injury.”” [Fox]
