Elizabeth Suzanne Bailey is a 36 year old woman from the Iredell-Statesville region of North Carolina. She was a teacher in Iredell-Statesville Public Schools working at Northview Academy (formerly Pressly School). Bailey has been accused by police of sex crimes in connection with a student victim.

Bailey Accused Of Illicit Crimes With Student. “Elizabeth Suzanne Bailey, age 36, surrendered to police on Aug.1 and has been charged with felony statutory rape of a person who is 15 years of age or younger, indecent liberties with a minor, and sexual activity with a student. Bailey was given a $75,000 bond and placed on house arrest with electronic monitoring. Iredell County deputies were made aware of Bailey’s alleged activity on July 20.” [LL1885]
School District: Bailey Suspended. “Elizabeth Suzanne Bailey of Statesville, NC has been suspended with pay pending an investigation by the Iredell County Sheriff’s Office. Mrs. Bailey was charged today with Felony Statutory Rape of a Person who is 15 Years of Age or Younger, Felony Indecent Liberties with a Minor, and Felony Sexual Activity with a Student. Mrs. Bailey works at Northview Academy (formerly Pressly School). She was first employed with the Iredell-Statesville School District in February 2010 as an assistant. She has also served as an Exceptional Children’s Teacher, and most recently as a science teacher. The investigation is ongoing.” [ISS Statement]
