Marino Accused Of Stealing Husband’s Money With Alzheimer’s Scheme. “For about 20 years, New Haven police said Donna Marino stole approximately $600,000 from her 73-year-old husband, cashing in on his pension checks, workers’ compensation payments, and Social Security income. She would then deposit the funds in a secret bank account without his knowledge, according to WTNH.” [Nexstar]
Police: Husband’s Child Reported Marino. “Among other documents, Borer wrote that the department obtained 22 pension checks and a check for a workers’ compensation settlement totaling roughly $28,000 that had been deposited into the bank account of a relative of Marino , the warrant affidavit says.” [New Haven Register]
