Dawn Elaine Coleman Arrested, Accused Of Suitcase Murder. “The boy’s mother, Dejaune Anderson, still is on the run. There is a warrant for her arrest on a charge of murder. Her alleged accomplice is 40-year-old Dawn Elaine Coleman, of Shreveport. Coleman was arrested in California and charged with neglect of a dependent that resulted in death. Police believe the two women together are responsible for Jordan’s death. “No crime scene evidence technology was spared in this case, in this investigation by the Indiana State Police, including those only available through federal and outside agencies,” a police spokesman said.” [KSLA]
Body Found In Suitcase In Woods. “The case began April 16 when the body was found in the woods off a dead-end road in southeast Indiana near the town of New Pekin, about 35 miles northwest of Louisville, Kentucky, according to Indiana State Police (ISP). Zipped up inside a distinctive Las Vegas-themed suitcase, the boy’s body showed no signs of physical trauma, ISP spokesman Sgt. Carey Huls said during a news conference Wednesday morning. An emotional Huls said the boy had been identified as Cairo Ammar Jordan of Atlanta. Jordan would have turned 6 on Sunday, Huls said.” [AJC]

That’s according to multiple social media posts attributed to 37-year-old Dejaune Ludie Anderson. Indiana State Police revealed during a news conference Wednesday that they had identified the boy as 5-year-old Cairo Ammar Jordan.
