Daniel Heath Norment is a 41 year old man from Jupiter, Florida. Norment worked as a teacher at Independence Middle School in Palm Beach County. Police have accused him of having sex with a student in the closet of his classroom.

Norment Arrested, Accused of Sex With Student. “In a statement, the victim said she exchanged cell phone numbers with the Independence Middle School teacher and would help him with paperwork after school hours. On one occasion in his classroom, the victim said Norment told her he loved her, became “aggressive” and fondled her and led her into the closet where he undressed her and had sex with her. When the victim reported the incident to authorities she said, “Norment should not be around youth.”” [WPLG]
Report: Norment Allegedly Allowed Students To Change Clothes In Classroom. “The 18-year-old girl, now in college, said she was coerced by Norment during the same timeframe as the former girls’ basketball coach allowed players to change clothes inside his classroom after school.
