Claudia Campos Veiga is a 41 year old woman from Embu-Guacu, Sao Paulo, Brazil. Veiga has been accused of murdering her father Omar Veiga by burning him alive in July 2021.

Claudia Campos Veiga was arrested by police after being on the run from police. According to reports, Veiga told police that she was abused by her father.
Veiga reportedly told authorities that she got the idea to burn her father alive from the movie “I Spit On Your Grave.”
Veiga’s ex-boyfriend reportedly told police she plotted revenge against her father over a 30 year period.
According to reports Veiga went on a hike with her father, tied him to a tree, and then set him on fire.
Cristiano Ruiz, a woman who worked near the father’s home, said Veiga hugged her father on the day of the murder “like a daughter who loves her father.”
