Tomassoni Accused Of Assaulting Husband. “The wife of a Minnesota state senator has been arrested after allegedly hitting him with a broomstick and threatening to stab him after a drunken dispute over ‘past family dynamics’ on Sunday night. Charlotte A. Tomassoni, 69, allegedly threw a computer belonging to her husband David Tomassoni while he was in the couple’s basement at their home near Hibbing, about 75 mi northwest of Duluth, according to a police report.” [Daily Mail]
Police: David Tomassoni Called Police About Assault. “According to a police report, David Tomassoni called police about 6:30 p.m., saying his wife, Charlotte, had hit him several times in the chest with a broom handle at their Chisholm home and later “yelled down that if David came upstairs, she would stab him.”” [Star Tribune]
Report: David Tomassoni Accused Wife Of Being Drunk. “He told police officers that his wife, Charlotte, had been yelling at him earlier in the day and that “she was intoxicated and might be high on something,” the police report said.
