Austin Aldama Arrested. “Austin was cuffed and booked on Jan. 18, 2024, in Navarro County on an open warrant for his arrest. The record references a grand jury indictment against him with 10 counts of possession of child pornography. Austin, 27, was released on bond and but with certain conditions attached. The son of the famous cheerleading coach must submit to random drug testing and voluntary searches of his electronic devices. He’s also prohibited from viewing pornographic images.” [Page Six]

Aldama Lawyer Claims Innocence. “In a statement to The Messenger, the legal defense team for Austin Aldama — Heather Barbieri of Barbieri Law Firm and Kerri Donica of Law Offices of Kerri Anderson Donica — claimed that their client is “innocent,” adding that the attention on the case is “fueled solely by the celebrity status of his mother” and “is an egregious attempt to distort the truth.” They said, in part, “The charges against him lack legal merit, and we are confident that the facts, which will prove his innocence, will come to light during the legal proceedings.” [Messenger]

Harris was in court for sentencing Wednesday, where a string of his friends and supporters read statements about the disgraced reality star’s character. After the lengthy hearing, the judge announced the 12-year sentence.
