Ashley Roman is a 20 year old woman from Wallington, New Jersey. Along with Joshua Delgado, she has been accused of murdering an 8 year old infant. The couple reportedly brought the dead child to St. Joseph’s University Medical Center in Paterson, New Jersey.

Roman and Delgado Accused Of Murder, Roman Is Child’s Mother. “Roman, the child’s mother, has been charged with murder and endangering the welfare of a child. Both allegedly caused the death of the 8-month-old child on October 25. Roman and Delgado brought the child to St. Joseph’s University Medical Center early that day. The infant was pronounced dead at the hospital.” [Paterson Times]
First Degree Murder Charge Levied. “Both Roman and Delgado, who they said isn’t related to the infant, were subsequently arrested by detectives from Valdes’s office on Tuesday. Both are charged with first-degree murder.” [Daily Voice]
Police: Arrest Based On Reports From Multiple Witnesses. ““Based upon the death of the infant, prosecutor’s office detectives opened an immediate investigation and multiple witnesses were interviewed,” Valdes and Paterson Police Chief Ibrahim M. Baycora said in a joint statement.” [NJ]
