Robert Herrington (age 34) and Erika Herrington are a couple from Stearns County Minnesota. They and their children are missing. Robert Herrington had a restraining order against him preventing him from seeing Erika Herrington.
The couple’s four children are believed to be with them. Landon (8), Carter (8), Briella (3), and Delilah (2).
The Stearns County Sheriff’s Office issued an alert to the public noting that all six people are missing.
According to police, they were last seen traveling in a white 2015 Hyundai Sonata, with a black top – Minnesota license plate BWD 364.
Police say Robert Herrington has a Domestic Assault No Contact Order that prevents him from seeing Erika Herrington.
“There is concern for the children’s welfare due to this and other conditions they may be in,” the Stearns County Sheriff said in a tweet.
Records indicate that Robert Herrington was on bail after pleading guilty to domestic assault after pinning Erika Herrington down onto the floor by her neck and threatening her with a knife in December 2020.
In February 2020, Erika Herrington’s mother reported her and the children missing, and told police that Robert told her that he would hurt Erika and the children.
Police found the family in South Dakota and charged Robert twice in the last year for violating his no-contact order.
