
Dominique Bowers was a 37-year old Navy veteran from Warner Robins, Georgia. She was murdered and her 13-year-old son has been accused of the killing.
Bowers Murdered At Home. “The teen has been charged with murder over the death of 37-year-old Dominique Bowers, who was found with a fatal gunshot wound last Friday, according to the Warner Robins Police Department. Bowers, a Navy veteran, was discovered by first responders after her son called 911, authorities said.” [NY Post]
Police: Bowers Son Charged With Murder. “The Warner Robins police confirmed the child was the killer in a statement posted on Facebook. “Dominique Bowers, (37 yoa) of Warner Robins, is identified as the victim of homicide that occurred yesterday on Adirondac Way. Ms. Bowers is the mother of the 13-year-old juvenile that was taken in to custody,” the statement said. “The juvenile is charged with Murder and Aggravated Assault. A first appearance with the juvenile was held this morning at the Houston County Superior Court. The juvenile is being held in the Crisp County Youth Detention Center.”” [Yahoo]
Bowers Son To Be Charged As Adult. “According to Houston County District Attorney George Hartwig, the 13-year-old charged for his mother’s death will be prosecuted as an adult. The teen is charged with murder and aggravated assault.” [WMAZ]
Bowers Was Petty Officer In The Military. “According to her Facebook page, Bowers was a former Builder Petty Officer 2nd Class in the U.S. Navy, and had worked for the Virginia Department of Transportation after studying psychology at Roanoke College. Her profile says she was engaged.” [People]
