Jodie Whittaker is rumored to be quitting Doctor Who after her third season at the show. Whittaker currently plays the 14th Doctor on the BBC sci-fi series.

Daily Mirror: Whittaker Quitting Doctor Who. “The 38-year-old has told bosses she intends to stick to the traditional rule of leaving after three stints in the TARDIS, like the majority of her predecessors. BBC Won’t Comment On Whittaker Rumor. “A BBC spokesperson said it would not comment on the reports regarding Whittaker. Her co-stars Bradley Walsh and Tosin Cole left the programme in the New Year’s Day episode.” [Guardian]
Most Doctor Who Stars Leave After Three Seasons. “If she does leave after season 13, it would mean that all three of the most recent Doctors only stayed on the show for three years (Matt Smith was on from 2010-2013 and Peter Capaldi was on from 2014-2017).
