Child Sex Trafficking Increased During Pandemic. “In October, the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children (NCMEC) noted that reports of online child sexual exploitation had doubled in 2020 compared with the previous year. A COVID-19 Curfew Was Initiated In Most California Counties. “The curfew will affect all counties in the purple tier, which currently includes 41 out of the state’s 58 counties.
