The United States, with a population of 328 million, is the home of just over 4% of the people on planet Earth. But under Donald Trump, America has 5 million people who have been infected by COVID-19.

That figure represents 25% of the people who have been infected on the entire planet, 20 million.

America has the most COVID-19 cases in the world. The next closest nation is Brazil, with over 3 million cases.

America also has the most COVID-19 deaths in the world, with over 163,000. The next closest is Brazil, with over 101,000 deaths.

Indonesia, who has a population of 267 million and is the closest to the U.S. population, has by comparison 5,765 COVID-19 deaths and 127,000 infections.
