Davion Elijha Powell is a 19 year old man from Willmar, Minnesota. He has been accused by police of raping a woman and carving his initials into her body.

Powell has been arrested and charged with two felony counts of first-degree criminal sexual conduct and one felony count of second-degree assault with a dangerous weapon. He was held in custody in Kandiyohi County Jail.
The criminal charges filed against Powell allege that he is guilty of penetration, injury, use of force and acting with an accomplice.
Another man has been charged in the case alongside Powell.
The criminal complaint against Powell alleges that they met a woman on July 30 at the Mall of America. The documents say the men went to the alleged victim’s residence in Willmar.
The woman told police that Powell and another man sexually assaulted her in her house and that she tried to escape multiple times.
The police report says that the men allegedly handcuffed the woman, put paper towels inside her mouth, and “started carving up the front of her body” using either scissors of a knife.
The complaint says that the woman had the initials “D.P.” carved onto her body without her consent.
The report says that the assault was recorded on video and that the woman was assaulted with the object that was used to cut her skin.
