Biden Beats Trump

Biden’s first primetime presidential address in 2021 drew 2 million more viewers than Trump’s first address in 2017.

Extremism in the Military

Timothy Hale-Cusanelli, a white supremacist who openly spoke about his hatred of Jewish people wore a Hitler mustache and worked as a contractor for the Navy. He also hosted a bigoted YouTube channel. Hale-Cusanelli was part of the January 6 mob at the Capitol.

Examples of Biden Derangement Syndrome From Republicans

After Biden said he hoped for a normal Fourth of July after people are vaccinated, Sen. Ted Cruz tweeted out a meme of a steak on a grill with the caption “come and take it.”

Also responding to the 4th of July remark, Sen. John Cornyn falsely claimed Biden wanted to “put our lives on hold till July the 4th.”

Rep. Madison Cawthorn responded with an attack on the comments, tweeting, “The American people and I do NOT need your permission to celebrate July 4th and this country.”

Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene falsely tweeted, “He says everyone must get the vaccine & we might get to have a BBQ with our families on July 4th.”

Rep. Lauren Boebert said Biden’s innocuous remarks on 4th of July made him a dictator: “Joe Biden: You might be able to celebrate Independence Day. Liberals in 2021: Thank you Dear Leader.”

Donald Trump Jr. claimed there was no “better visual” to explain Biden’s presidency than his dog Major biting someone.

Biden Vs. Racism

In his first primetime address to the nation, Biden slammed anti-Asian racism. He said, “It is un-American. And it must stop.” When he was president, Trump repeatedly called COVID-19 the “China virus,” even as Asians were being blamed and attacked over the virus.

Marjorie Taylor Greene Scandals and Controversies

Called Italian Politician “Mussolini”

Rep. David Cicilline, who is Italian and Jewish, sought to make a rule change in the House to prevent Greene from repeatedly trying to adjourn business in the House to stop bills she disagrees with (like the American Rescue Plan).

In response, Greene referred to Cicilline as “Mussolini.” In response, Cicilline said, “Mussolini was a fascist dictator in league with Adolf Hitler, who murdered six million Jews. Marjorie Taylor Greene can get lost.”

Anti-transgender sign

Greene posted a sign outside her congressional office saying: “There are two genders: Male & Female” in response to a pro-transgender rights flag outside the office of a Democratic member of Congress.

Voter Mandate Allegations

Greene cited her winning percentage in her 2020 election as proof that she has the backing of voters in her district, claiming, “I ran for office to represent the people, not the politicians.” But many on Twitter quickly pointed out that while Greene won 74.7% of the vote she ran unopposed.

Women for America First Fundraiser

Women for America First held the rally where Donald Trump spoke to incite the January 6 Capitol attack. Greene is scheduled to have an April 2021 fundraiser with the group at Trump National Doral.

“Gun Registry” Falsehood

Greene claimed that the House bill on background checks (HR 8) “would create a national gun registry,” eventually leading to “confiscation” of firearms. This is not true.

In fact, the text of HR 8 says “Nothing in this Act, or any amendment made by this Act, shall be construed to authorize the establishment, directly or indirectly, of a national firearms registry.”

Effects Of American Rescue Plan

Millions of families will receive $250 a month for each child and $300 for children under the age of sex.

GOP + COVID

A study from the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health and the Medical University of South Carolina found that infection and death rates started out lower in states run by Republicans, but then got much worse in July to December of 2020.

Ron Johnson Scandals

Praise for Capitol Rioters

Johnson said that he felt safe that the January 6 Capitol attackers were Trump supporters, but would have been “concerned” if they were from Black Lives Matter. He also said that the people who attacked the Capitol “love this country” and “truly respect law enforcement.”

Hydroxychloroquine Lies

After President Joe Biden announced vaccination landmarks ahead of schedule, Johnson complained that discussion about treatments like hydroxychloroquine had been “censored and silenced as we awaited a vaccine.”

But multiple studies showed that hydroxychloroquine was not effective against COVID-19 and could actually have a risk of death.

Fox News Scandals

Tucker Carlson Attacks Women In The Military

Fox host Tucker Carlson attacked the U.S. military for allowing female servicemembers, specifically complaining of accommodations made for pregnant women in the military.

Pentagon spokesperson John Kirby said the military felt “revulsion” at Carlson’s attack and said Secretary of Defense Lloyd Austin felt the same way.

The Army’s official Twitter account tweeted a series of photos showing female soldiers carrying out their duties with the phrase “I am an American Soldier.”

Ted Cruz Scandals

“Come and Take It” Meme Theft

Cruz was accused of stealing a meme with a steak on a grill with the caption “come and take it,” which he used to complain about President Biden’s remarks on safely celebrating the Fourth of July.

Dr. Seuss Book Fundraiser

Attempting to attach himself to news stories about Dr. Seuss books being withdrawn from publication, Cruz signed copies of Seuss books, then sold them for $60 each as part of a fundraiser for himself.

Rick Scott Scandals

COVID-19 Relief Funds

In a letter to governors and local governments who have been hit hard by the virus, Scott requested that they “commit to reject and return” funds sent out by the American Rescue Plan.

Trump COVID Failures

Trump refused to get a vaccine in front of Americans and data shows Republicans are lagging the rest of the country in getting vaccines. Experts believe Trump could have been an example for them to follow. Every other living former president – Barack Obama, George W. Bush, Bill Clinton, and Jimmy Carter – appeared in a pro-vaccination along with their wives (Michelle Obama, Laura Bush, Hillary Clinton, and Rosalynn Carter), but Trump and Melania Trump did not.

Trump Investigations

Attempt To Overturn Georgia Election Results

Audio of Donald Trump speaking to Frances Watson, the lead investigator for Georgia Secretary of State Brad Raffensperger show Trump showed him telling the official she would be a hero if she overturned the results in his favor.

Big Dog Ranch Rescue Scandal

Big Dog Ranch Rescue, is charity that has spent over $1.8 million on fundraisers at Mar-a-Lago. The charity is connected to Lara Trump, who has been listed as a chairwoman for the group. The group’s president, Lauren Simmons, was also a guest of the Trump White House at a 2019 event on animal cruelty. The dog rescue has continued funneling hundreds of thousands of dollars to the Trump company after other companies cut ties due to Trump’s incitement of the January 2021 Capitol attack.

Clay Higgins Scandals

Anti-Background Checks Comments

Higgins opposes expanded background checks for gun purchases, and in a floor speech attacking a bill that would do that, Higgins said gun control isn’t needed because in the Bible, Cain didn’t need a gun to kill Abel.

Capitol Riot

Former acting Secretary of Defense Chris Miller, who was put in place by Trump, said that Trump incited the January 6 2021 attack on the US Capitol building. Miller said “it’s pretty much definitive” that the attack would not have happened without Trump egging on the crowd at a “Save America” rally in Washington to overturn the presidential election results on that same day.

Biden Economic Recovery

American Rescue Plan Helps World Economy

The $1.9 trillion American Rescue Plan is forecast to increase American GDP by as much as 4%. If this is accurate, the plan will also be a boon to the global economy.

The Guardian reported that “The world’s economy will grow an extra 1.1% from the Biden administration bill injecting $1.9 trillion into the US economy.”

17 Signs Economy Is Recovering

NY Times economic reporter Neil Irwin wrote that there are 17 reasons for economic optimism to begin, noting that events are lining up “for roaring growth.”

Republican Responses

After voting against the Rescue Plan, Senate Minority Mitch McConnell said a coming economic boom “will have absolutely nothing to do” with the $1.9 trillion.

Republican Attacks on Voting Rights

Arizona state Rep. John Kavanagh said “everybody shouldn’t be voting.”

Paul Gosar Facts

Gosar has been described as the House Republican Party’s “designated white nationalist member.”
