Authorities say Florea applied for membership in the extremist Proud Boys group and traveled with the group in December 2020 and was with them when they vandalized a pro-Black Lives Matter church.
Arrest By Federal Agents After Arsenal Found
Florea was detained by federal agents after a search of his home unearthed an arsenal of over 1,000 rounds of rifle ammunition, two dozen shotgun rounds, 75 military-style combat knives, two hatchets and two swords.
Florea also owns an armored vehicle that his attorney described as a “military tank.”
Florea has been charged with being a felon in possession of ammunition and faces a possible sentence of 10 years in prison if he is convicted.
Threat Against Raphael Warnock
In his account on the app Parler where he used the username LoneWolfWar, Florea allegedly posted the message “dead men can’t pass laws” in a thread about Sen. Raphael Warnock (D-GA).

Florea reportedly posted a message about plans to slice “a throat” on the conservative social media app Parler. “The time for peace and civility is over,” authorities say Florea posted.
