People are wondering if Peyton Manning was paid for mentioning Budweiser after the Broncos won the 2016 Super Bowl.

“Manning, who already does adverts for Nike, Nationwide, Gatorade and Papa John’s pizza, was not paid to mention Budweiser, the beer’s parent company Anheuser-Busch said.

Lisa Weser, head of marketing at Budweiser, tweeted: ‘Hi Internet. For the record, Budweiser did not pay Peyton Manning to mention Budweiser tonight. We were surprised and delighted that he did.’
