Report: Washington Post Edits Out Trump Criticism From Column

The Washington Post appeared to remove unflattering information from a column criticizing Donald Trump.

Buzzfeed reports that a version of a column from Richard Cohen included a passage painting Trump in a poor light was circulated before the passage “was quietly removed” before it was published in the paper and syndicated to other newspapers.

The column originally quoted Trump speaking about his then-13-year-old daughter Ivanka: “Is it wrong to be more sexually attracted to your own daughter than your wife?”

That was removed in the final column, and Post editorial page editor Fred Hiatt told Buzzfeed, “We don’t think it would be fair to our writers to discuss the editing process, and don’t see what is to be gained by talking about things that are not published—there are countless drafts that never see the light of day.”

The statement from Trump echoes other strange and unsettling comments he has made over the years about his daughter in a sexual manner.
