Michael Bay has admitted to his full net worth.
In an interview with Rolling Stone, Bay reveals that his net worth is about $500 million. He told the interviewer specifically that he is worth “half a ‘b’.”
Bay further explained, “But you save up your money and you give it away. That’s what I’m going to do. I’ll probably do a very large wildlife-protection fund — something with Africa and big game.”
Bay is the director of some of the highest grossing movies in history. His 11 films have grossed over $5 billion at the box office internationally, which ranks him #4 on the list of highest grossing movie directors. For domestic U.S. box office, Bay is the second-highest grossing director.
These include the Transformers franchise, The Island, The Rock, Armageddon, Pearl Harbor, and Con Air, among other #1 films.
He owns several luxury cars – a Bentley, a Range Rover, an Escalade, a Ferrari, a Lamborghini, and two Camaros.
