What Happened?

The central train station in Brussels, Belgium was evacuated on June 20, 2017 after reports of an explosion in the building.

The Grand Palace and main square in Brussels was also evacuated.

Reports indicate that shots were fired at the station, by police who sent many officers there to respond to the incident.

BBC reports that there was a man with an explosive belt in the Brussels station that was neutralized by law enforcement.
