Students Carry Sex Toys To Slam Open Carry Gun Law

Students at the University of Wisconsin in Madison are set to carry around sex toys in order to protest a proposed open carry gun law that would allow guns on their campus.

State Rep. Jesse Kremer (R) proposed the legislation after a mass shooting on an Oregon campus that killed 9 people.

UW-Madison sophomore Kat Kerwin is the student organizing the sex toy protest. She told a local radio station, “Campus carry isn’t something that’s going to make campus safer. It’s going to make students uncomfortable. It’s going to make them wary to express their views in politically charged classrooms.”

The chancellor for the school has already announced that she is opposed to the law, and believes that it would make it harder for police on campus to do their jobs.
