Report: Netanyahu To Be Investigated For Bribery, Fraud

Israel’s Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu is on the verge of being investigated for bribery and fraud, according to a new report.

The Times of Israel reports that after receiving documents in a secret inquiry, police are asking Attorney General Avichai Mandelblit to open a full-blown criminal investigation of the Prime Minister. Among the charges they expect to pursue are bribe-taking and aggravated fraud.

Netanyahu’s spokesperson described the allegations as “nonsense,” and claimed that they are political retribution after Netanyahu’s election wins.
