GOP Mayor Who Backed Trump Charged With DUI After Fleeing Crash

Michael Ciach, a Republican who serves as the mayor of the borough of Upland, Pennsylvania, has been charged with driving while under the influence.

Police say Ciach rear-ended a car and hit two other vehicles while operating his car in the city of Chester, PA.

Ciach was arrested “while wandering the streets of Chester.”

In a news report from October, Ciach described Donald Trump as “pretty direct and honest” after the second presidential debate.
