Anti-American jihadist terrorists are celebrating Donald Trump’s election to the American presidency.
They believe the reality TV star’s repeated expressions of anti-Muslim hatred will be a boon to their efforts to recruit terrorists to kill innocent people.
Abu Omar Khorasani, an ISIS commander in Afghanistan, told Reuters, “This guy is a complete maniac. His utter hate towards Muslims will make our job much easier because we can recruit thousands.”
During the campaign, Trump promised to ban Muslims from entering the United States, said he would look into ways to track the movements of innocent Muslims, and attacked the Muslim family of a fallen American soldier.
Iraqi cleric Moqtada al-Sadr said of Trump: “He does not differentiate between extremist and moderate Islamist trends and, at the same time, he overlooks (the fact) that his extremism will generate extremism in return.”
Since his election, several anti-Muslim hate crimes and incidents have been reported. Many in the American Muslim community have said that the election of Trump has them more fearful for their lives than ever before.
