The chairman of Rebuilding America Now is Governor Rick Scott (R) of Florida.
Alex Castellanos, a Republican consultant, is part of the PAC’s leadership team. Castellanos created the racist “hands” ad for pro-segregation Senator Jesse Helms (R-NC). Castellanos, on CNN said Hillary Clinton could be considered a “white bitch.” He has also repeatedly pushed the birther conspiracy theory on his Twitter account.
Rebuilding America Now boosters include WWE CEO Linda McMahon, Wall Street investor Anthony Scaramucci, and investor Howard Lorber.
Donald Trump Jr. headlined a fundraiser for the PAC.
