Karina Vetrano, a New York City woman, was found dead and investigators believe she was strangled.
“An autopsy found that Karina Vetrano died from strangulation after her body was discovered late Tuesday night in Queens. Her clothes were in disarray, indicating a possible sexual assault, said police, who were still searching Wednesday for her assailant.
Vetrano, 30, left for her her daily run at about 5 p.m. on a trail in Spring Creek Park, part of a recreation area that’s adjacent to her home in the Howard Beach neighborhood, police said. Normally, the victim ran with her father, but he stayed home because of a bad back, they said.” [READ MORE]
