WWE Suspends Roman Reigns

WWE wrestler Roman Reigns has been suspended for possible violation of WWE’s drug policy.

In a statement, WWE said, “WWE has suspended Joe Anoa`i (Roman Reigns) for 30 days effective immediately for his first violation of the company’s talent wellness policy.”

Reigns tweeted a message about his suspension: “I apologize to my family, friends and fans for my mistake in violating WWE’s wellness policy. No excuses. I own it.”

WWE’s policy on drug policy violations has typically meant first time violators are suspended for 30 days, second-time offenders are suspended for 60 days, and third-time offenders are terminated.

Reigns will likely miss the upcoming WWE draft which will send wrestlers to WWE Raw or WWE Smackdown. He was scheduled for a triple threat match with Seth Rollins and Dean Ambrose.
