Hillary Clinton used a major foreign policy speech to absolutely destroy Donald Trump on Thursday. She made a clear case that Trump is completely unqualified and far too reckless to be commander-in-chief of the United States. At times deadly serious and at other times mocking, Clinton referred to “Donald” as a loose cannon who cannot be trusted with America’s nuclear arsenal.

She explained, “Trump isn’t just incoherent; he’s dangerous. He’s not just unprepared; he’s temperamentally unfit to be Commander-in-Chief.”
For years Trump has said America is weak. Clinton countered by saying, “If you really believe America is weak … you don’t know America and you certainly don’t deserve to lead it.”
Referencing Trump’s career as the host of NBC’s reality TV show, The Apprentice, Clinton said, “This isn’t reality television. This is actual reality.”
Clinton described Trump as “not someone who should ever have the nuclear codes because it’s not hard to imagine Donald Trump leading us into a war just because somebody got under his very thin skin.”
She defended the Iran nuclear deal negotiated by President Obama, pointing out that he doesn’t know the “first thing” about that country, and that the deal was the right thing to do, which must be enforced “vigorously.”
The former Secretary of State argued that “if America doesn’t lead, we leave a vacuum,” while referencing Trump’s argument that America should cut its commitment to alliances like NATO and pointing out that he has been attacking the United Kingdom, America’s oldest ally.
Anticipating Trump’s response to her speech, she said the most he brings to the table is “bragging, mocking, composing nasty Tweets.”
While Trump has pushed building walls around America, Clinton said, “We’re not a country that cowers behind walls.”
Clinton pointed out Trump’s anti-Muslim rhetoric as well, and countered with the argument that “plenty of Muslims and immigrants serve and fight in our armed forces.”
She concluded: “Don’t let anyone tell you that America isn’t great. Donald Trump’s got America all wrong.”
